Is my DNS misconfigured?
Compare Cloudflare and Google public DNS for a name you type. Your computer's resolver is not visible to a web page.

Details
Type a domain to compare the answers from Cloudflare and Google public DNS. A web page cannot see the DNS server set on your router or computer. Two different answers are often a content network or a recent change, not a broken home connection.

Limits
This does not read the DNS server set on your router. Disagreeing answers are often a CDN or a recent edit, not a broken home connection.

Steps
1. Type a domain, or leave the example.
2. Compare the addresses from the two public resolvers.
3. Read the verdict. It says when the check cannot see your own DNS.

Questions
Can a website see my DNS settings?
No. The page can only ask public resolvers and try to reach a site.

The answers differ. Is that bad?
Not by itself. Large sites return different addresses on purpose.

What would a broken domain look like?
NXDOMAIN or SERVFAIL from both resolvers, or no address records at all.
