Encode a component, or a whole string, and decode percent-escapes.

Encode one value, or a whole string, and decode percent-escapes. Component mode is the right choice for a query value. Encoding a full URL also escapes the colon and the slashes.

Limits

3. Copy the result.

What does component mode do?
It uses encodeURIComponent, which is what query values need.

Why did decode fail?
A % sign was not followed by two hex digits.

Nothing is uploaded. Closing the tab drops the file.
